Queensland’s largest boarding school, The Rockhampton Grammar School (RGS) is an independent co-educational boarding and day school, established in 1881. Students from Early Learning to Year 12 are welcome, with boarding offered from Year 6. At RGS, the co-curricular program is a complement to students’ academic pursuits. RGS boasts a demonstration farm and access to a commercial cattle herd; as well as a Dance and Musical Theatre Academy, providing professional tuition as well as a performance and rehearsal space.
