Dreamt up by a rural mum in the heart of the Mackenzie region in New Zealand, H&S Heritage came about when Penny Williams couldn’t find the kind of hard-wearing, quality clothes for her kids that she remembered from her own childhood. So she borrowed a sewing machine and started sewing — first for her own children, then for friends.

What started as one mum’s practical solution has grown into a New Zealand heritage brand for women who work the land and love it, crafting pieces that transition seamlessly from yard work to market day.
