Having grown up on a farm in Victoria, Merry People founder Dani Pearce knew that gumboots were part of daily life: reliable, durable and comfortable.

When she moved to the city in 2014, Dani wanted an all-weather boot to take her on her daily commute to the corporate world and then back to the farm on weekends, and so Merry People was born, supplying boots that merge the function of farm boots into an on-trend fashionable silhouette for everyday living.
