Held at the beautiful Springfield Woolshed on the Liverpool Plains, this wedding was a dream come true for the bride and groom, Sally Gavin and Wal Vivers. The ceremony was lighthearted, meaningful and fun, thanks to their family friend Tammy White, who was the celebrant, and a few gusts of wind that caused Sally’s veil to come off several times as she walked down the aisle. “It certainly gave everyone a giggle,” she says.

When it came time to cut the wedding cake, the couple also brought out a birthday cake for Sally’s grandfather who had celebrated his 95th birthday only 10 days earlier. “We thought it was a perfect opportunity to have everyone sing him happy birthday,” says Sally. “It was the most special day for both of us, and honestly everything we could have wished for,” she adds.
